Jose Luchsinger

The Director of the center is José Alejandro Luchsinger, MD MPH. Dr. Luchsinger is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Epidemiology at Columbia University Medical Center. He is a general internist and epidemiologist whose research has focused on the role of chronic diseases such as type 2 diabetes on aging related outcomes in diverse populations. His research experience spans from cohort studies to clinical trials of pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions. He also practices general medicine in the community of Northern Manhattan.
